TUTORING OPPORTUNITIES
All of the following opportunities listed will count towards S.A.G.E. points. Depending on how many hours you volunteered will determine the number of awarded points, which are negotiable. However, in order to obtain the points deserved you need to fill out and return the S.A.G.E. Hours Verification Form.

ELEMENTARY:
1. LOCAL CHAMPAIGN/URBANA ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS -
Stratton Elementary School (Champaign) OR Yankee Ridge Elementary School (Urbana) are interested in finding volunteers who would like to get an experience working with students at the elementary level. This opportunity offers all subjects and grade levels upon request.
ORIENTATION SESSION/SIGN-UP-
Wednesday February 10th at 8:00 p.m. in Room 242 of the College of Education. You will choose which school and subject, fill out an application, and background check. If you are unable to attend the orientation session, you may contact Olivia Atherton or Lila Moore.
2. ROLLER SKATING AT BOOKER T. WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY-
This is a short-term volunteer experience at this elementary school in Champaign. The physical education teacher is doing a unit of roller skating with kindergarten and first grade students starting in March. He needs some volunteers from 1:30-2:55 on a daily basis. There is a direct bus route to Booker T. Washington Elementary from the Illini Union. If you are interested, please contact Olivia Atherton.
MIDDLE SCHOOL:
There has not been any school at the junior high level that needs volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering in this age group please contact Olivia Atherton. She will set you up at a Champaign/Urbana middle school if there are teachers willing to take volunteers in your subject preference.
HIGH SCHOOL:

2. WANTED: VOLUNTEER WHO SPEAKS ARABIC.-
A ninth grade student at Urbana High School moved from Morocco to the United States four years ago, and speaks English well. However, in reading, writing, and math he could use some volunteer assistance. Urbana High School is looking for a volunteer to help him in his core classes. If you are interested in this event, please contact Olivia Atherton.

6th hour: Biology 12:38-1:28
7th hour: Social Studies 1:32-2:22
8th hour: Math 2:26-3:16
3. WANTED: SPANISH-SPEAKING COLLEGE STUDENTS.-
This is a one-time volunteer opportunity for Spanish-speaking college students to make phone calls in early February to student homes. These calls will be done for teachers who need help setting up times for Parent/Teacher conferences at Urbana High School. They also need help during the Parent/Teacher conferences on Thursday, February 18th from 4-8 p.m. and Friday, February 19th from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Olivia Atherton.
